RESPAWN 104 Racing Style Gaming Chair, in Green (RSP-104-GRN)

Bought this for my son and he loves this chair. Didn't seem hard to assembled it, as my husband put it together.

My various family members had very different experiences with this chair, so I'll let each speak for themselves.Dad: The chair looks great and has nice quality leather. It has a bunch of adjustments, but my back needs good lumbar support. This chair bends outward in the back, so it is essential to use the included cushion - unfortunately, it doesn't attach so I have to manually put it in place. With the cushion, my upper back doesn't touch the chair back, which isn't ideal. The seat bottom doesn't have enough force to come up without standing a little. This chair wasn't for me.Mom: My favorite way to use this chair is to recline all the way back and rock. It puts me to sleep.Teen Son: This is a nice looking chair with a lot of movement; the back can move WAY back until it’s almost touching the ground, the arm rests can move up and down, the seat can be adjusted to be higher or lower, and you can make the seat kind of rock.It is has some leather stained green that makes it looks great, and it even has shoulder vents (I’m not quite sure why, but it looks cool)!It doesn’t fit your back that nicely, so it isn’t really meant for being comfy. It feels a little like it’s inside a space ship from a cool movie.I think it’s a pretty nice chair to sit on when you don’t mind not being comfy.

I purchased this chair for my 11 year old son. It was a bit difficult to assemble but worth the effort since he loved it. Within 2 weeks, the right arm broke off at the weld point. I tried to contact the company and got no response.

Looks cool but how am I supposed to be happy when it doesn’t come with any hardware. I have to drive to the big city to get my own hardware and waste an hour or two when I was finally able to have a kid free night. F U Respawn

Comfortable. Not too hard to assemble. Would buy again

This is a GREAT looking chair. But, like some cars, it's what's under the hood that counts. It's all faux leather. It's got a high back and head rest. It tilts back for reclining. It also has height adjustment as well. In the photos I shared, this is how I added the side arms without trying to put them on while on the floor. Place the seat on a flat table and allow the back rest to stand against the floor. This will allow you to comfortably assemble the arm rests.Now here are the bad points:1) The small screws that attach the plastic covers on to the metal plates connecting the seat to the backing, stripped!!!2) The zippers are cheaply made and one was bent. When I went to straighten it, it broke off!!!3) One of the zipper pulls was missing from the lumbar piece4) The chair sits really weird. The seat is long and you must use the lumbar pillow to make up the difference5) The chair leans way to much backwards. Almost as if you were lying down. Who plays video games like that? Make sure to lock the tilt adjustment before dropping the back down.6) The arm rests are a part of the seat NOT the back. So, when you lean back, the arm rests do not come back with you.7) There is no breathable areas of the chair, so after long periods of time, you will perspireIt's a great looking chair, but the above problems keep me from recommending this chair.

Overall, I'm liking this chair and it's better than the last two I had. I had a more office style chair which I replaced with a cheaper gaming style chair. I replaced the first gaming style chair with this respawn chair. It is better than my last two chairs and I think it's good for the price, but it has a few quirks.It's pretty comfortable. I like the fact that it leans way back because I totally like leaning back and closing my eyes for a few minutes after long stretches. I also like the color and style. I really like that the arm rests have a rubber covering rather than the bonded leather because older peeling bonded leather on an armrest is horrible! The high back is also nice especially when leaning back.I like the lumbar pillow and it's almost necessary with the bigger seat, but it's odd that the pillow just sits there and isn't attached at all. I thought I would really dislike that the arms only move up and down and can't be pushed aside. As I've used it, I like the rubber armrests more than I thought (and they go down low enough) so I'm not annoyed by the stable arms.I don't have any major issues and I find it comfortable for all my computer use. I like it and do suggest it if you like the style.
