Tekonsha3021-P Brake Control Wiring Adapter for Dodge and RAM

You need this when installing a brake controller. Otherwise you will have to hard wire it.Ain't nobody got time for day!

I reviewed quite a few trailer brake controls and decided on this one for the reviews and honestly the price as well. I don’t use often but it went it great and works as expected with the camper we rented. Very happy

This allows you to add a Tekonsha P-3 brake controller to a vehicle that doesn't have one or add on to replace an integrated factory controller that is faulty. In some cases you have two wire harnesses and this will only replace one of them. It'll work fine but your vehicle may think there's an issue because it cant detect the factory controller thus giving you an error on the dash to check brake controller.

Plug and play connection to my Ram 1500 Classic. Works fine. Cable is heavy duty, good quality.

Amazon said that this would NOT fit my 2019 Dodge 4x4, Crew Cab, 3.6 liter, 1500, Classic Warlock pickup truck. But there were no other options on Amazon so I tried this and it works perfectly. The biggest thing to watch for is that the truck has a FEMALE, 4 spade connection (tucked under dash above gas peddle) and this wire adapter has a 4 spade, MALE connection. There are female wire harnesses too so you gotta look closely.

I got this harness to install my brake controller in my Ram. You can go without and splice your wires with the harness included with the controller, but this makes it plug and play. You may spend more time trying to contort yourself to get under the ash than actually installing this. get a zip tie or two to manage extra length of the wire, depending on where you mount the controlled.

Worked exactly as needed. connected directly to my 2012 Ram 1500, no cutting needed. Connected the other end to my brake controller and worked right away.

Worked perfectly on my Ram 1500 4.7L, plugged into a Reese brake controller I also bought on here, doesn't have to be the wiring for a tekensha brand unit. Haven't had any issues towing 4 days a week for 3 months with anything. Muuuuch cheaper than going to local trailer to have it installed, and not much effort, I recommend buying and installing your own trailer brake controller off Amazon and save at least 300$
