This review is for the 10mm version which fit perfectly with my Safety 1st baby gate. We had our gate positioned at the top of our staircase but due to the flat portion of our bannister posts being uneven where the pressure points needed a flat surface to press against , the gate sat high leaving the bar by your feet to be about 3-4inches off the top step creating a hazardous situation. I came across these replacement parts and only actually needed one for my set up. Right off the bat I could tell the gate was much sturdier. We used 4 zip ties on the corners before as we felt the gate would slide out from the baby pushing on it, but thanks to the Y shape now, it gives it a little more tighter feeling. This was a much more cost effective, but still safe, option for our gate.

WE have a pit and she does not push on the gate or jump. It helps hold the gate in place. The only down fall I found it I can only put the gate up one direction as the item will not fit into one side of the gate. The item is to long for the gate.

Compatible with “Dreambaby” gate. These are less expensive than the “Dreambaby” banister adapter rods. They are longer in length as well, and work perfect on the stair baluster. I’d highly recommend.

I am so glad to they make this addition for baby gates when you have stairs. It made it possible to put the gate where I wanted it.

Got these to use with the regalo brand baby gate for the stair. Work pretty well.

Well designed Y spindles and easy to open packaging. However, did not fit my Cumbor baby gate.

Worked exactly as expected. The dog can’t knock the gate down anymore

We struggled to find a gate that was wide enough and secure enough to be placed at the top and bottom of our stairs.Instead of ugly bits of wood/DIY adaptions, these screws are perfect. They also fit nicely on spindles too.I don't usually leave reviews unless something is very good or very bad. These are very good and i would definitely buy them again
