A very well written book.
Enjoyed this book which is very well written, clearly Andrew was very smart, that he was bored in school.

Interesting and quick read. Very well written. Great if you’re a Wham fan or just a George fan.

Excellent Read
Absolutely one of my favorite memoirs. I loved WHAM along with countless of other girls in the 80s and I have loved George Michael for as long as I can recall. This was a great read and well written by Andrew Ridgely detailing how they met, crafted songs and toured. Highly recommend reading if you were and are a fan of Wham and George Michael.

Just lovely
I am a huge George Michael Fan. I have not read a book in quite a while. I picked it up and read it in two days. Andrew Ridgeley did a wonderful job of telling the back story to Wham and their friendship. There was so much information about their will and dedication to the music and that they were going to make it no matter what. George was a major musical talent and we were lucky to have had him for the short time we did.

Best Book I’ve Read All Year
This book was full of joy. Honestly written, Andrew Ridgeley delivers the behind the scenes story of Wham! A fun, fantastic book; I didn’t want it to end. I still listen to George and Andrew on a regular basis as I’m an 80’s girl.

A must read for a Fan
I am not at all a person that enjoys reading. But as a fan of George Michael, Andrew Ridgeley and Wham! I felt I should give this memoir a try. This book is so well written, that I read it in less than 5 days. Andy wrote their story from his heart with so much passion and lovely details. Many times I could picture myself exactly in the place he was describing.A must have for a fan. I hope one day I can get Andy to autograph it! xx

Utterly fabulous
A behind the scenes memoir from Andrew Ridgeley that I could not have enjoyed more. If, like me the music of Wham ! was so much part of those younger years, you cannot fail to marvel at how sensitively Andrew writes about the music but above all, his relationship with George Michael. The intensity of their music making over an incredibly short period of time, the differences between them both and Andrew's humility at George Michael's talent, ultimately leading the the end of Wham! are what stand out for this reader.

It's not the subjects or the events. It's the writing.
It's not the subjects or the events. It's the writing. Just not up to snuff. Things just kind of happen. You don't get any real sense of being there. And in certain sections it seems like it's written for very young people of the 1980's. Problem is, they grew up. It doesn't talk to the audience like adults. I read it through. It was good enough. Pictures are cool. Subject matter is certainly top drawer. It could have been better.

Loved this book, couldn’t put it down
I really enjoyed reading this book, I couldn’t put it down, I think I must’ve read it in a a few days. It took me back to my teenage years when life was a lot more carefree and simpler and although I wasn’t a Wham! fan at the time (I was into Duran Duran), I did like their catchy pop songs… I like them even more so now I’m (much) older. The book tells of how Andrew Ridgeley and George Michael first met, their dream to become a pop group and how that dream came true. There are lots of photos from Andrew Ridgeley’s personal collection throughout the book which I liked. The only thing I will say is, there wasn’t a lot to read after Wham! split. I know the book is about Wham! but I would’ve like to have known a little more about life for the author after they split, he doesn’t mention about his relationship with Keren Woodward from Bananarama at all. Maybe there was an agreement between them that she not be included in the book, who knows… I just felt the ending of the book was a little rushed hence why I’m giving 4 Stars. All in all I loved the book, I just wished there had been a few more chapters to have read after Wham! split and obviously, wished that George Michael was still with us.

incredible
I adored Wham, too young to really take part in their rise and finale but oh how I adored, especially Andrew. This book not only gave me an amazing insight to the band and an incredible friendship but it also took me back to my own friendships at that time. Andrew Ridgeley is absolutely the best friend anyone could ever wish to have and once again I have Wham on my playlist in the car.
