This products works great and is easy to install.
I lost firebrick on the side of my wood stove and needed to replace the top insulation. I used this insulation board in place of the firebrick and also replaced the top insulation board. Although the insulation board is not firebrick, it still worked out well, although it is not as durable and will have to be replaced each year. But, this is a good substitute. I did order more firebrick from Lynn Manufacturing as well, and will use that probable next year.

Great for woodstove repair
The material saved me hundreds of dollars by allowing me to make my own replacement parts.

Works but soft so be careful
Used to rebuild an ond "LogFire" insert. Had thin firebrick that actually helped up top components so needed close fit. Works great but as you load in logs it gets scratched like styrofoam. Even though I applied hardener before I installed. Fingers crossed it lasts a few years.

We love our remodel fireplace
I got this fireproof walls to fix my fireplace and is great, better than the concrete walls from factory they brakeeasy, the material radiates the heat and keep warm the house, I been keeping my home heater low when I start a fire since the fire place warm the house, the material is easy to cut and install, just use a mask or a respirator because the dust is to fine and make you cough for days.P.S. I wish the factory make diferent colors but is only white.

Easy to cut to aize
Rebuilt a firebox in a wood stove. It was easy to cut and shape and drill and seems to be working well.

easy to cut to the size we needed as a baffle board w/ a very sharp knife.....the material is not as strong as firebrick, it dents easily, if it is bumped w/ wood while loading the stove...the ceramic board comes up to high heat very quickly and sofar is efficient @ reburning chiminey gasses....sofar a good product

Good for a replacement woodstove baffle.
Great product, why is this stuff so expensive? I used it to make a replacement baffle for a Enviro Kodiak 1700 woodstove. There was enough material to make two sets of baffles.
