Raybek Outdoor 1000 Lumen Waterproof LED Flashlight, Black, Battery Powered

I really like this flashlight! It is incredibly bright, has five [5] settings that are easy to cycle through. Keep in mind that when you find the setting that you want, click the button on to hold that setting and keep it lit for at least two seconds. It comes without batteries, which is OK by me, AND it is duel fueled, which is what I really like. I bought Streamlight's 18650 battery charger with two 18650 batteries and this flashlight takes one. To double its run time, you can attach the provided extension tube and add another 18650. As it is duel-fueled you can use two [2] CR123 lithiums or four [4] with the extension tube. This light is very well made, is heavy duty, has a pocket or belt clip and comes with a strong tactical holster with Velcro closure.I have other flashlights, including my ancient Kel-Light 5 cell that still works and has the original bulb. I also have a Streamlight Scorpion and Maglight XL-200. BUT, I really like this Raybek. It is much brighter and the SOS and strobe functions are great. So are the lower settings. The power button requires more thumb pressure than the Streamlight, but I can live with it.Raybek is a small family-owned company with great customer follow up. All in all, this was a great investment and appears to be a really well made tough flashlight that will last forever.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this product. I primarily use this for personal defense as I walk home along the poorly lit streets of my city. The 1000 lumens is plenty blinding and is sufficient to stun a night adapted threat momentarily. The pros and cons I've found are:Pros: It's bright. The beam is fairly well focused and is blinding out to 10-15 meters, and beyond that irritating enough to not want to come closer. The construction is solid, it feels durable. The mode memory feature is nice, and being able to switch between high, medium, and low is a nice feature. Battery life seems decent (for running on two C123A batteries). While it will heat up, this is pretty much to be expected from a 1000 lumen light.Cons: If the light is turned on briefly then off again (shorter than two seconds), it switches to the next mode. This isn't a showstopper by far, but it'd be nice for it to stay on the same mode. The strobe frequency is a tad slow (to be REALLY really picky). While you can kinda see the movement of someone in the strobelight, it doesn't seem fast enough to identify movement as well as someone would like. If the frequency was faster it'd be just a disorienting, and one could see movement better.Overall, I'm highly satisfied with the light. Just refrain from pointing it at your face (you will be sorry if it's dark).

This flashlight is a great patrol light for anyone in the Law Enforcement or Security industry. The construction of this light is solid, and is extremely bright. The holster is surly a huge plus for the purchase, as it is uniform with all of my other police gear, and is also solid. I also enjoy the option of making this light bigger with the included extension tube. I was sold on all of the included accessories, and the lifetime warranty. Get one of these lights. It certainly is professional grade, and the price is right. I bought the BestFire 2Pcs 3.7V 18650 5000mah rechargeable batteries with the charger to compliment this tool. These work well with this light. Nice light.

Just received today and seems like a solid light . Only time will tell how rugged it is as I have been through 3 flashlights this year . These get used everyday at work and get put through allot of punishment . I haven't found one yet that can last a full year in my industry.HVAC service Tech . It seems very bright and the button is in the perfect spot I hope it lastWell it's been 5 months and the light is still plugging along. I had one issue and thought I killed the light like the last few that have not lasted . The light just stopped working and would only turn on after slapping it a few times but I found out it was just a low battery and once changed it came back on and has worked flawlessly. I have dropped it many times it has been submerged a few times and it still works like new . I have to say this particular flashlight will last a harsh work environment and is a must have for any service man/woman who works in a very demanding environment . The holster has also lasted . It is ripping but that is to be expected in my case . I give this light a big fat thumbs up A+++

This is a great product. I had an issue with my first one due to using a combination of inferior charger & battery, I am assuming, as I did not have to send it in for analysis. It could have been from vibrations and the bulb went out. Either way, it was replaced with virtually no questions asked. This light is the brightest handheld flashlight I have ever owned. It is tough, with a clip that is virtually impossible to get off by hand, and a good battery consumption versus what you get out of the light. Naturally, using it on it's brightest setting will drain the battery quicker, but for myself, I have found the light to be not battery hungry. If there is a need for longer life cycles between charges, then the light comes with an extension for using 2 batteries. I Imagine this would give you an amazing amount of use time, but I have not done, nor viewed any test results. But I am confident, Raybek would be at the top of any comparable comparison lists. The fact that it is made and supported in the United States is just icing on the cake. I highly recommend this flashlight, and plan on having one at my disposal for the rest of my life. E
