This set of dowel pins is great! I used them to fix an antique rocking chair that had 2 sizes of dowels in it. This pack is wonderful, as it includes several widths, so I was able to find the perfect sizes without having to buy separate packages. I highly recommend this product. Every once in a while you need to repair of piece of furniture where the break shears a dowel connecting two pieces . Usually you don't know the right sized dowel you will need until you drill the old one out. Usually you need to go the next size up so having a small kit with a range of dowel sizes is handy.

Wood Dowel Pin assortment in 5 sizes worked great for the project I had of moving some door hangers slightly from the original holes. Glued the dowels in the old holes, let the glue dry, cutoff the dowels and re-drilled the new holes.

I had need for a particular size dowel, and decided to buy the set on the off-chance that I may need others. So, I suppose they're great for whatever may come up - although I had to trim the dowels that I needed in the set.

I liked what I received but ended up not having to use them for the project I needed them for. I saved the entire package in case I need them in the future.

Seems a bit expensive for the number of dowels. But I guess I should expect this shipping a few ounces of wood.
