While the product says it has no aluminum chlorohydrate it does contain aluminum sulfate. Aluminum sulfate has been found in women’s breast milk and absorbed by breast tissue after use. The ad is disingenuous by not saying the crystal mineral salt is potassium alum. The ad is disingenuous by not saying the crystal mineral salt is potassium alum. I will not buy again.

I have very sensitive skin and many deodorants cause me to breakout. I tried to making my own deodorant with coconut oil but I could never get the baking soda and or other ingredients to the right mixture to not cause a breakout. In desperation I figured why not try the stone (I purchase about three weeks ago). I love it!!!! I am very active as in I run int he morning and play tennis and with it being Summer, this is the best scenario for testing if this holds up to the "stink" test! IT DOES! I've played tennis for over 2 hours and sweated like crazy... but no STINK :-) No this will not stop sweat but if you know basic health, sweat is good ... it's the stink that is bad. I have not had any underarm rash since using this.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. Previous to this crystal deodrant stone I had just recently switched from antiperspirant to a more natural deodrant, without much success. I am a hairstylist so I have my arms up a lot and also uncomfortably close to people's faces. It was important for me to find something that did not just mask the smell of sweat but helps prevent me from sweating and smelling all together. I have to say, I was very skeptical but upon reading some really great reviews I decided to give it a shot. I have been using this product for two weeks now and will say I have not been disappointed with this purchase. In the salon the Holidays are the busiest time of the year and this stone has not let me down. I have not been sweating and there is absolutely no odor. I am surprised by how well it actually works. Zero odor!!! So far I give this product 5 stars, I am interested to see if this deodrant holds up in the hot humid summer months. I am hopeful.

I got this and another natural deodorant for my young children because they STUNK! I talked to their pediatrician because they are WAY too young to be stinking that bad. He wasn’t worried about the stink, just said get some natural deodorant and put it on them after they shower/bathe. When we got the 2 deodorants my husband and I tried the other one on a part of our inner forearm first and I’m glad we did! IT BURNED! Like almost immediately the other one was very irritating to our skin and also left a yellow stain on it even after we wiped it off.This deodorant is a solid salt stick/stone. You wet the stick/stone and rub that on your underarms. My husband and I again tried this one on our inner forearms to make sure it wouldn’t burn, and it just felt like we were rubbing water on them. No irritation whatsoever. So that night we tried it on the kiddos. AND IT WORKED! And their skin was just fine, no complaints!I even tried it on myself a few times, just to see if it’d work on adult BO. Now I’m not a super stinky person. I don’t necessarily shave my underarms every day, more like every 2 or 3 days and they barely ever sweat, but I’m still an adult and still need to keep up with my hygiene. I usually use suave sweet pea cuz I like the scent. I tried this for myself and it works on grown ups too! No irritation even after shaving. It’s a little different though because there’s literally no scent. Like not even the “unscented” smell. Actually no scent to it. My husband did not try it one bit, but I think he’s gonna wear degree sport til the day he dies. But also I’m not sure how well it would work on him since he sweats a good deal more than I do.So if you’ve made it this far through this crazy review I’ll give pros and consPros: no irritation, no burning, even on freshly shaved skin, even on little kids sensitive skin. Completely scentless.Cons: completely scentless(some people may want a scent), must have a water source to wet the stick, may not work with thick underarm hair or on people who sweat a lot under their arms.One last thing I want to note is this is 100% potassium alum, which is a type of aluminum. I will let you do your own research and come to your own conclusions on whether or not this product is right for you based off that info, but I found for myself and my kids I’m ok with using this. I’m pretty sure my kids have a dairy allergy and that’s why their pits stink, so I don’t use this deodorant on them every day, just when I know they’re either gonna have dairy or have in the last few days.

So, I quit using aluminum deodorants/antiperspirants about a year ago. What I've found is, some don't work, some work for a short time and then stop working. I thought I had a winner with my last product and stocked up. Too bad, because about 2 weeks ago I started noticing a peculiar stench in the underarm area. Way worse than just b.o. I logged onto to Amazon and started searching. Found this crystal deodorant stone and so far it's great. No smell. At all. You have to get it wet and it feels weird because it just feels wet and not at all like you have on deodorant. I still sweat (but I'm used to that now without antiperspirants) but there's no odor. That's the goal people. No odor.

I ordered this stick without looking closer to details; aluminum free and affordable price were two factors that clicked. When product arrived, I was surprised to find the stick dry and hard, and with sceptitism I read the instructions to find out it’s supposed to be that way? Fast forward - it works! I don’t know how, it’s magic! But really, it works well! No smell of sweat, and no smell of deodorant mixed with sweat - neither on me, nor on my clothes. Why it took me so long to discover it is my only regret.

I’ve used this crystal deodorant for just over a week and am quite pleased with the results. I carried it with for the first few days thinking I would need to reapply a few times as my body adjusted, but I only needed to for the first day, and only because I was paranoid. The deodorant itself is odorless. And there is no residue of any kind. I have no moisture or body odor, not even a little. Prior to using, I was experiencing severe irritation on both armpits. After about 5 days the irritation had completely disappeared. Great product. I will never use traditional deodorant again.
