Lotta Body Coconut Shea Oils Control Me Edge Gel, 2.25 Ounce

I have 4c hair and this does not hold down my edges. It melts off and reverts back with in 3 minutes of being on my hair.

I recieved my 12pk lotta body order today and i am most displeased.#1. The labelling on all the jars are different from what i am accostomed to they are all really faded at the bottom.#2. There are air bubbles at the top of the products. I buy 2 of this this product every week and 1 out of 20 i get a jar with a few air bubbles. I recieved 12 jars of lotta body edge control all 12 has a lot of air bubbles.#3. That is definitely not the amount of edge control that comes in that jar.Now i am a natural hairdresser and i also run my own product line, I have been using lotta body edge control for the past 5 years on myself and on my clients and that amount of edge control i am seeing in those jars are NOT what custumers are suppose to be getting.I don't have any pic of a full one right now but i have enclosed some pics of what i am using at present. I hope that the difference is visible to customers who know the true features of the product.The consistency of the product remains the same but these errors are very visible .

I used this while installing my box braids and it worked wonderfully. It helped smooth down my natural hair so my braids could come out nice and neat. I recommend for that.Cons:I had some leave out and so I used it to gel my edges. It’s nice at first but does not stayed laid for long.

This gel is the bomb, it smells great, soft and holds well! Not too thick and not too slimy plus it doesn't turn white! My only complaint is that the product did not come with the amount shown on the advertisement!

I bought this to have 'layed' edges and Ill admit it does that. The problem is after a few hours your hair will look greasy and oily, so defeats the purpose.

This product was used on my daughter’s hair, and it did not work at all. Within a few minutes, it blended in with her hair and did not hold her edges at all. I don’t know what type of her she has, but she is biracial with thick, curly hair. I will not order again

I love lottabody control me edge control. I have been using this edge control since I have been natural about 4 years ago. I go through this gel real fast especially when you have two daughters in the house. The edge control really slicks down are edges without it leaving any white residue and it is not oily. This is defiantly the go to edge control in my house hold. I just brought another jar of it. I only ordered one but I should have ordered more I just wished it came in a bigger jar.

I’ve used every edge control you can think of, Creme of nature, olive oil, gorilla snot, g2b and the list goes on. This edge control is the best.I have 4c natural thick Afro hair, my edges are always a problem as nothing makes them stay down and stay put. Lottabody changed this. The container itself is larger then any other edge control I own so your getting a good amount. The consistency of it is more like a paste then a gel, it’s thick and feels rather solid not like a runny liquid. This is good as I find paste consistencies tend to hold up better. It’s blue in colour and smells like Blueberries.How does this make my edges look? Sleek, tamed and neat, I slick down my baby hairs with a mascara spoolie and dense toothbrush and my hair looks so pretty. My edges stay down and neat for days. I find the best method to keep my edges staying put is to put on a little olive oil eco styler, then lottabody then style as desired, wrap down my edges with a wrap strip and leave on for 1 hour without heat or 15 mins with hair dryer heat. After this my edges don’t move whilst looking shiny soft and sleek!I find this product doesn’t really get spoken about much in the UK which I think makes it a little underrated. I will definitely be buying more to stock up on as I will be looking nowhere else for my edge control.Would recommend!

I bought this get for my edge and it doesn't really sleep my edge. I like it cause is lottabody but for sleep my edges not really good that why am given it 3 star.

Love it! It is one of the first edge control gels that I have used that seems to work with my hair. It did turn a bit white one day but I think may have applied too much. But overall, it's a very nice product.

Good product but no ingredients on incase someone has an allergy which has happened to me in the past with hair products.

I've added this product into my hair routine very easily. It just goes on so smoothly. My scalp does not become itchy or flaking when using it.

I like that this is light and does not go white or flake in my hair.... but the hold is not nearly strong enough.I would still purchase again. Rachael I think it's actually helped my edges grow in more, but if you're looking to "lay" and "slay" dem edges... this isn't the greatest

Smells great and moisturizes while slicking my edges. Much better than any gel and better for my hair.

This is a very good product and i recommend if you have relaxed hair or 4a/b hair and above, Unfortunately i have natural 4c edges and this held them very well (when i took off the headscarf that i left on to press down the edges) - until 5 minutes later, where my hair bounced back to its natural state but covered in oil from the product. If you have relaxed hair or 4a/b hair and above, then this product is for you! it smells good and contains coconut + it seems like it would work if my hair wasn't so coarse. It is well worth the price.
