A dosing funnel is one of those things that I thought was just an unnecessary accessory. I was wrong. As you start brewing espresso at home, it becomes apparent that a dosing funnel is essential if you want to all but eliminate waste. I like to save money and a dosing funnel will prevent you from losing grounds. I’m also all about consistency and a dosing funnel ensures that the grounds that came through the grinder make it to the portafilter. This dosing ring is not magnetic, but is heavy and has a lip so it easily stays in place.

Must Have for all Breville Espresso Owners
Definitely builded nicely and fit perfect on my Breville 54mm Portafilter and my third-party bottomless portafilter! I use this with Breville Smart Grinder and help with the reduce waste of grinds. Yes, I could of used a 2oz paper cup but this look nicer and I don't have replace a paper cup every few months. Recommend Yes!
