Absolutely terrible workmanship and questionable seller who Amazon are investigating.
I bought this bike as I was attracted by it being lighter, which is a bit dubious as it's heavier than my wife's 18kg Gtech . It eventually turned upm3 months after the initial order and after carrying out some assembly, I noticed the shock absorbers needed air so I needed to purchase a shock pump at £40. After a short ride the shocks lost air again and I also noticed the seals were gone. Peacestar replaced these no questions, but that was just the beginning of the problems. The computer seals were poor and allowed condensation to form, chain constantly slipped out of gear and I noticed rust was forming on bolts around the pedal mounts, the rear hub and the disc brakes, despite me cleaning, drying and oiling the bike after each ride. I was also concerned that the transformer for charging the battery would get hot and sometimes made a crackling noise when plugged in. The final straw was when the chain snapped due to rust and corrosion. In total I covered 121KMs on this bike before finally returning it and despite still being under guarantee, the seller refused a full refund as they said I damaged the bike. The bike was stored in a dry garage and oiled with chain lube and GT84 after riding but still the rust formed, when challenged about this the seller said they use iron bolts. If you are considering buying an ebike, go for a cube or European model, the standard is so much better and are a similar price. Don't get caught out. Amazon are now investigating the seller, so avoid them at all costs.
