This is an amazing device, and holds much more than you would expect for its size. I really enjoy being able to get into my car and just hold my phone near the dash and have it snap into place without looking. I no longer have to Fumble with an awkward spring-loaded clamp that eventually always slid off of my vent anyway. Since I have vertical vents in my car, this type of Mount is the only solution that I found to hold snuggly so far.It should be noted that if you use wireless charging on your phone this type of Mount is probably not a good idea. The metal washer gets quite warm when it's on a Qi charger coil. Luckily I mounted mine to the back of a TPU case, and can easily remove it every night before I go to bed and set the phone on the charger.One thing I think might be a helpful Improvement on the design: The washer on the back of the phone is fairly slick and the phone slides around on hard surfaces even if you have a rubberized case. On the mount side there is a rubber covering that adds friction between the washer and the mount (so it holds its angle when you rotate it). If you swap those two surfaces and put the rubber coating on the outside of the washer, the phone might not slide and spin on hard surfaces. (And a black washer wouldnt stand out on the back of my case as much.)

3.5 stars... I got an iPhone case which didn’t allow for placing a magnet under the case, nor did it have much room on the back. I was going to buy another case, but found this and thought I’d give it a try. This was great because it’s small and fits in the available space on the case. The magnet however doesn’t hold as well as the large ones. If I hit a pothole it falls right off. I do like that the clip stays on the vent and doesn’t budge. It also does work with the larger round vent magnets, so there is that option also.

Just received it. The item is indeed small and convenient. It seems to hold my iphobeX in a zizo bolt case pretty securely. I like it and I am quite happy with it except that the metal ring was already badly scratched (right out of the box) to an extent that it hurt one of my fingers. I do not really mind as I am sure my finger will heal in a couple of days (and that says how much I like the product). However I kind of suspect that this might even be a returned item that got shipped to me, although the package looks new. If indeed, that would not be nice (I doubt that is the case though)... Anyways I don’t want to take the hassles of returning and repurchasing but I do hope the seller could send me another ring that is in “new” condition. For now, I just carefully filed the scratched areas with a quarter and a piece of coarse linen cloth. I think the clamping mechanism of this product is the simplest while it’s also the best among vent mounts. Would love to give it 5 stars despite the imperfect metal disc I received initially (but that is not the right thing to do) - AN UPDATE: the seller did agree to send me one or two NEW metal rings (and hence the service definitely deserves 5 stars)! For the manufacturer: I hope the package includes more than one metal ring regardless. Anyways, I love this product and I’d like to reiterate that the four stars I am giving actually mean 5 stars. Actually I do not really trust 5 star comments in general. Again, great product: simple, robust, small, convenient and secure. Indeed, I am buying more for family and friends!

I use this for using in rental cars. I travel every week, and i get to try this mount with a different car every week.Here are my findings.Good:The best vent clip i have found in the market.Adhesive is superstrong.Phone wont fall off. The magnet holds th ephone in tact. I use LGV20, and thats a large phone. i havent had issues.The bad:In the newer car models, the phone (being large) covers some of the infotainment controls/buttons. Ex: power, volume, etc. In some models, based on where you mount, it covers the hazard blinker buttons.The ugly:Specially true in newer cars. Ex: Subaru forester, the vent flaps are too large. Caseco mount doesnt extend/retract as much as the depth of the flap. In some cases, it mounts, but it would be impossible to remove, and i ended up having to leave it behind in the rental car.

Ok so adhesion is super strong, this thing will not come off unless you try. Very easy to install literally just slap it on. On the car though, you might need to pick a convenient spot. Ive noted the magnet is really strong and generally doesn't fall off unless youre on violently bumpy roads like dirt roads or such. The only reason i didn't give 5 star is because although it meets my expectation in discretion, being small and barely noticeable, it requires that you remove the case to use wireless charging since my phone is samsung note 10+. The magnet on the case interferes, though ive tried several different placements. It's not a huge inconvenience, just dissappounting a little. Still recommend if you need ur phone to navigate on the road a lot though.

Works like a charm. The magnet that you have to attach to the phone or case is very unobtrusive and hardly noticeable, yet strong enough to maintain its hold (even on a bumpy dirt road which I live down). The clip fits easily onto my air conditioning vent and was also easy to install. This is a relatively inexpensive buy and has already made a great improvement on my driving experience. Can't recommend this highly enough.

I like this type and would recommend it over the other vent type. The clamping mechanism makes it much more secure than the other types of air vent mounts. I have both; this one never falls unlike the mPow version. Though the ability to customize the angles with the mPow type is nice and if the manufacturer came out with a version that was articulable. I would give it Five stars.

Even withe the adjustable clip, it would only fit my side vent on the car, so it is a little awkward to use. Took overnight for the adhesive to set up to keep the the ring on my phone case. Would like to get additional rings and adhesive so all three drivers could could use when driving the car. Not as versatile as I had hoped when I saw on YouTube
