Like most said this is great if you are just ...
When I saw this on sale for 70 dollars I just had to get it. Besides my old guitar was starting to get beyond repair. Like most said this is great if you are just starting out but I still find this pretty awesome for those that already know how to play. You really do see what you get.Pros: Works WITH Rocksmith. Saw in the question that two people said no. I have Rocksmith and it works perfect.Has weight, shinny, and has tone in the paint (got blue, no regrets).Full size and nothing abnormal with it. Meaning the neck is the right size, it isn't too big.Easy to tune.Cold to the touch (not sure why, but I really enjoy feeling it cold).Cons: The neck and head looks normal. Meaning that there is no finish on them. They also didn't cover the hole on the neck under the strings. Far away you won't notice it but it looks ugly if you look at it.Case, could do without it. I mean yeah it makes transporting it easier and keeps the dust off of it, but I would like to have a real protection around this baby. The paint has some dints in it, only two. One in front and another on the side. It isn't large and kind of adds character. This is only a con because you might get more or none to large or small.Overall, worth the 70 dollars.

Works great with Rocksmith!
I ordered this guitar for my son so he could play Rocksmith with Daddy. I just unpacked it last night after the kids were in bed and hooked it up to Rocksmith to try it out. It seemed to tune much easier than the Epiphone Les Paul Jr that came with my version of Rocksmith, and I really liked the picks that came with it (I have only used the pick that came with Rocksmith).I know very little about guitars and am just starting to learn to play, but I was impressed with the quality of this guitar. It looks great, and feels good in your hands. The strings feel decent to me, and it sounds great so far.The only negatives I would have mentioned are the ones another reviewer already pointed out, but they aren't a big deal to me, just cosmetic. The neck appears to be unfinished, but I don't know if that is really a negative or not. It is smooth, it just doesn't appear to have a sealant or coating on it of any kind. It looks unique though, so I like it. And as another reviewer said, the drilled hole on the neck looks a little rough, but it is only noticeable up close.Daddy likes it, hopefully my son will too!

Outstanding guitar and outstanding seller!
I LOVE this guitar! For the price, you just can't beat it. I got the green and love the color, too. There was a flaw in the nut, I contacted the seller, and they immediately offered to replace the guitar or the nut. I chose to get a new nut and replace it and the company was more than happy to make this sale right and to make me happy. I highly recommend this guitar and this company.

Nothing wrong with the neck
The only way the neck might be too wide or thick is if the player is a 5 year old or less.Everything is fine about this guitar.I've got 3 Davison guitars and they all are well built and comfortable to play.If you are shopping this price range, you can't get better quality.

Very pleased!
My husband is learning to play for the first time so we have no idea what is good/bad, but this guitar has been very easy to start playing. It looks great, feels great and pairs nicely with the Rocksmith learning system for PS3. We highly recommend it!
