First time diyer here . I did a somewhat decent job and it was a good learning experience, but man it took time and patience and the curves were so hard to do and it would wrinkle and crease so i just gave up on the curves but the rest looks pretty good to me. But this product is very good quality i did like 100 times pulling and tugging and smoothing it out with the squeegee.

Not having any experience with “wraps”, I didn’t know what to expect. I knew I C wanted a different look for my armada radio trim. So my husband and I set out on a journey to YouTube followed by quick stops at trial and error. The result is awesome! If I’m able I will post pictures after I go out and take them.My husband not I have ever worked with the materials, so everything was new for us. And wrapping a curved portion of a dash board with openings that are circular, rectangular and cut outs was daunting to say the least. The product was easy to use. The thickness allowed the product to be worked and stretched without deforming the patterns. Hearing the material was slightly scary at first but we learned quickly and the end results are AWESOME!!! No complaints what so ever!! I ended up buying another roll to do some accent trim and body pieces. The contrast in colors and textures combined with my interior colors and textures looks as if the factory designed it way. Super pleased. Super impressed!

This stuff is not your average thin, weak vinyl- very impressed especially for the cost. I used it on a custom dash/gauge cluster, it sticks decent but really needs to be 'worked in' on plastic and allowed to sit, even with adhesion promoter. Absolutely needs a little heat to fold around edges, but does form very well, even on rounded corners. I used a little trim adhesive on the back folded edges which worked great.

I purchased the VVIVID XPO Vinyl to wrap the trunk of my 2015 WRX. Overall I was very pleased with the item. I am inclined to think most of my problems came from user error other then product failure. That being said, Below is my breakdown based on what I was looking for in the product;Packaging/Shipping: The vinyl came within two days in a full roll. I know there were some concerns for the sheet coming folded. This was not the case and the roll was crease-less. Open the box for the first time outdoors however. The bottled up vinyl smell is a bit strong when the product is first opened up.Product Quality: My first thought was "Wow this is more stiff then I expected". Most of this stiffness is due to the backing paper. The carbon fiber is more of a raw texture giving it a matte finish. It still has a great look, just not as glossy as real carbon fiber parts. This is all a look preference though. I think it looks better with less gloss.Ease of Use/Installation: This is a mixed bag for me. If one has a smooth, semi flat to flat surface, then installation is a breeze. I started on the top of my trunk and that was a quick as anything to install. The vinyl is super forgiving and very easy to push bubbles through. My trouble come with the turn down to the back side of the trunk. The vinyl is nice in that it is heat activated. This allows one to pull up and re-position many times with no issues. I had to pull up and place the back a few times and one of them used too much force. This resulted in a tear in the vinyl. At this point I had to scrap the back of the trunk and just do the top. Like I said, this tear was most likely my own error. Overall, I thought it was very easy to use if one is patient with it.Durability: The installation was about 4 weeks ago and the product is holding up just like the day I installed it. Some bubbles will appear days after the install as it is baking in the sun. All one needs to do is rub them and the air release tech will do the rest.Overall: Really great product. I actually plan on purchasing more to wrap my roof and hood. Looks great from any angle. I have had a few people ask about it already because it looks so good. Five stars based on the fact that I was a complete beginner and was still able to do a professional looking job. Great for first time users of vinyl wrap!

Don't waste your money on it. It's a literal trash.

So easy to place and replace , heat is the key .So to go off on a different use , and so not what it's meant for, I tried cutting a decal-like shape with my laser.Forget using a vinyl cutter , this stuff is too stretchy. So i tried my laser .set the air assist to high and used my big carbon filter because I'm sure this stuff is horrible for humans and the lenses.( normally I cut simple vinyl for paint masks. )Cuts super easy with laser , it does not shrivel or shrink . I could cut out patterns to better fit things .It was even ok if I power up to cut right through the backing for making kits , it did not shring away form the cut like other stuff tends to do . ( 10W diode laser )So for fun I took some scrap and wanted to see how easy some real small transfer would go .so I did an edge on a PC.I used a shrink film covering / sealing iron (without boot) to heat it up once it was down to make it stick in place.Once it was hot enough it would stick to the plastic and not the positioning tack tape.Totally stuck down and safe to handle, even the small bits. Best part is I can peal it off an do something else later.I imagine letters on the car would go just as easy . Something tor try in spring .Thing is, this stuff is super stretchy and compliant when hot/warm . so it's got to be cool and on a stiff tack sheet to keep alignment.

This Black 3D Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap was very good and easy to use! A heat gun is a must if you are wrapping non-flat surfaces and edges. I used this on my car to wrap the shiny center console. This vinyl was very easily screeched when the heat gun was applied to it and shrunk very well when heat was applied. the texture is super nice and is not a fingerprint magnet. Very happy overall. love this product and would buy more in the future.

High quality wrap. Brilliant compared to the cheaper brands you can buy on the market.

good product and hard wearing. nice and easy to install with a heat gun. however it has delaminated over time.
