Black Garlic, 20 Ounce (566.99grams) (Pack of 2)

I can’t go a week without these black garlic cloves. I first bought them at Costco and then I was hooked. I can’t find them at grocery stores and even wish I could buy in bulk. Instead of 5 stars I am giving four because unlike the other container this one had some cloves that didn’t turn out inside. I had already eaten three before I got to the bad ones, if not I would have returned for another batch. This has never happened to me before with this product. They taste amazing but I don’t know what happened. I don’t know how to get a hold of the seller directly.

My Mom gifted the 5 oz garlicto me... when I got the item...the container had moisture on the walls of the container... I then opened the container let out all of the moisture...when I touched the garlic it was moist... the shell of the garlic shouldn't... should not be moist... it should been crunchy...crackly... and then when I cut it apart... because it was so moist it was sticking together...I had to cut it apart... there was mold inside the shell ...that is disgusting... I had previously purchased the 20 ounce and everything was great...

I first bought this product (Polar Black Garlic) at Costco a few months back. My family really loves it added to meals, sandwiches, smoothies. There is no garlic smell and has a slightly sweet taste for me. So what's the big deal? According to what I've read, black garlic has been found to have properties that reduce cholesterol, stabilize sugar levels, lower blood pressure, and stave off cancer. It's considered a superfood. However, when I went back to Costco to buy more, I found that it was a one=time deal. Like a lot of things that Costco has stopped carrying, Amazon has thankfully stepped in and is now fulfilling the need!

Just arrived. I bought this for my father's birthday but apparently having the container smashed, the contents spilled into the bag, the lid shot off, and the seal bursted open is considered a quality product. I have no idea how long the garlic has been exposed or whether it's even safe for consumption now. Absolutely horrible.

I think it tastes like candy, though not everybody agrees with me. Easy to eat, I like the texture, I have to remind myself not to eat to many. Supposed to be good for you in so many ways. Hardly even tastes like garlic, no aftertaste. The fermentation supposedly INCREASES the allicin, which is like medicine for your body.

It took a tiny bit to get acquainted with the flavor of black garlic but not long! My whole family loves it. And this one is great! Good price too. We have it on hand all the time. Great with sliced meats on crackers. Can add cheeses too. Good in salads. Love it on naan bread with cream cheese!

This fermented garlic is top notch. Clove meat is occasionally slightly sticky and more tender than my go-to Chinese source. But after the initial concern regarding the slightly more custard-like texture of one of the larger cloves, I found the product to peal easily, cut cleanly and taste delicious. If you like Black Garlic I can stronly recommend this supplier and product.

This is probably you like it quite a bit....or not so much! It does have a distinct, but still quite mild taste. Not really a garlic taste, though. It has a nice consistency: kind of soft chewy, a little like a gummy bear!I like to pair it with some cheese nibbles; a nice combination & similar texture.
