The logo on both the outer shell and the inner insulated piece are heat transfers (not actually a sticker), as opposed to being emboidered.

Outerwear is not rated by temperature. There are too many variables to make that determination, such as: air temperature, wind speed, humidity, precipitation, activity level, length of exposure time, body type of the wearer, and layers worn/not worn under the garment.

Q: Is this jacket two separate pieces?

This is a Triclimate jacket, so it is an outer waterproof/windproof shell and an insulating zip-out liner. The pieces may be worn zipped together or may be worn separately. This feature makes it a great value!

Q: Does the outer jacket have arm pit zippers for those who overheat pretty well when it rains?

No under arm zippers. But you can take the liner out.
