My bathroom is on an outside wall - in a very old poorly-insulated stone house and that room is really cold most of the year and especially so in winter. As you age going to the bathroom once or twice in the middle of the night is inevitable. I dreaded having to go. Sitting on that cold seat was a real eye-opener making getting back to sleep difficult. Many years ago I bought a warm seat cover but it was elasticized and would not stay put. Also it was not very durable - it looked ugly after only a few washings and then the elastic gave out and became useless. I decided to try again when I saw that this one snaps on instead of using elastic to hold it. I was pleasantly surprised in putting good faith in this great product. It stays put! It is warm and cozy. No more middle of the night dreaded trips to the bathroom.
