I will echo the views of prior reviewers - This is a poorly designed & extremely overpriced case that scratches deeply & stains easily. The company will not answer your questions. It only has a top lifting strap and when filled it is impossible to lift without extreme difficulty. The gimmicks used to market this bag & justify its high expense ( USB charging & internal weight monitor with Bluetooth) attracted me as the hopeless tech junkie I am and proved to be pretty useless in real life use. Although I loved the Lavender color, I have found multiple attractive bags in purple since. Save your money & get a case from a company that has a long reputation for good products.

What an incredible waste of money. This is the most beautiful suitcase before you use it. I bought it for my daughter as a special treat. After only one use it is ruined. It came out of baggage claim and she started crying. The denting and scuff marks look like I've had the bag for years. It is so flimsy and the inside is not large at all - the handle and gadgetry take up almost a half of the suit case on one side. Please save your money and buy a different product.

The 5 star reviews on this overpriced rubbish must be people that work there . I received this luggage from my GF for Christmas . I thought it was ok and had some cool features so I thanked her and was ready to try it out on our trip to Thailand , That's when I found out how rubbish these cases are and the price ! They have a couple of cool features but to be honest you don't need them . The scale is a cool idea the charging is so so and the power is on all the time so you get a blue blinking light constantly so basically you have to pull the battery out (PS the battery and handle takes up most the case ! So the battery that they look for when you try to take your bag through security . Every airport in Asian made me pull the batteries and take in my carry on then my bag go pulled apart at every checkpoint to see if the batteries were over a certain size. Almost missed one flight because of it ! I went on one trip and the case's look worn and abused like I have had them for years ! So it's simple really over priced rubbish that have a couple of gimic ideas that cause you more trouble than they are worth and that's not what you want at airports as they are already stressful nowadays . You can't beat a good Samsonite . Oh and their support was called and they basically couldn't care less about their customers feedback so we are stuck with big paper weights !

I had such high hopes for this bag. It was a gift for my husband for Christmas. The first thing I noticed is that it seems cheap and flimsy, but I assumed that maybe it was the new lightweight material. Well, we just used it for the first time on a trip to Seattle, and it already has a huge dent in it. Very disappointing.

I have the Raden Carry On but was going on a multi city vacation so decided to buy the Raden check bag. Its spacious and was perfect for my trip! Wasn't sure what to expect since i was checking a WHITE suitcase but to my surprise it held up much better than i expected! Yes it came out on the baggage belt with a few scuffs and dirty marks however I was able to clean it with Mr Clean Magic Eraser and its looks almost new again! Love this suitcase and would definitely buy again!!!

Like the other reviewers, I noticed that the bag scuffs and scrapes easily. In some spots it really looks like the colored finish is being rubbed off, so I'm not sure that cleaning/ Magic Eraser will do the trick. I purchased the Navy color, and there's not as much color contrast with the scuffs, but it is disappointing.The smart features do work well; the charger is handy, and the weight sensing handle is pretty neat. The bag is fairly lightweight, feels well made, and rolls like a dream. I like the security of the TSA locks, and use them all the time.Another reviewer mentioned trouble in Asia checking the bag with the battery. My understanding is that you cannot check bags with lithium batteries inside when flying out of most Asian airports. However, Raden does make it easy to remove the battery from your bag, and toss it in your carry-on. As long as you know that beforehand, you're good. I can see how it might come as an unwelcome surprise, though.I would be wary of purchasing a lighter color, but I'm happy overall with my Navy bag, and planning to add some stickers to complement (or cover!) the abused patina it's acquiring.

Just know the bag is 20 lbs. I bought this for our Europe trip and all but 1 of our flights require less then 44 lbs for luggage. So basically good luck packing for this size of a bag and trying to hit 24 lbs. Not to mention, the battery is inside the bag, and to charge it, you have to take it out. So, that means taking clothes and such out of the way to get to it. Looks cool and gimmicky but poor design in the areas that matter!

Took on one trip and it is all scratched. Couldn't get clean looks terrible.
