This is a very decent bag. The olive green color is just right. I was impressed with the brass hardware that attaches the crossbody strap to the body - very heavy duty. The leather handles are lovely - you can tell they will be no problem for carrying a lot of stuff in this bag. The black & white striped lining is so nice - it makes it easy to find things inside the bag. The bag's construction is top-notch.So why isn't it perfect? It's not made of WAXED canvas. (I dripped a small amount of water on it to check - immediate absorption! Soaked through. ) Solution? Buy a fabric wax for canvas (I'm trying Otterwax) and give it the wax coating it needs to repel water and stains. This will take a few days. There are a lot of DIY videos online telling me exactly how to do this, so I'm looking forward to making this canvas tote perfect...for me.

Nice bag, well made for this price point < 50. Zipper closure across top is helpful for security on subway, etc. Good inner pockets: two slip pockets and 1 zipper pocket. Fabric is not as heavy and thick as more expensive canvas bags, but that was expected. Similarly, the leather straps are finished on only one side, but I saw that before buying. They are just fine. L Overall, I like this bag a lot. Light weight is good for my trip to Europe; I will use this for my “personal item” on flight and as daily handbag while touring. The bag looks good and will easily hold water bottle, umbrella, notebook, chargers, hair/make-up bag, wallet, map, snack bag, and a jacket with room to spare.

I was extremely excited for this bag and very happy when I received it. It was well packaged and cared for. I immediately began to fill my new bag with my contents and when I was finished I set it by the door to leave in the morning. When I was ready to leave in the morning I grabbed my amazing new bag and almost immediately, it broke. Two of the grommets on one handle had come undone or were never completely snapped in the first place. I tried a quick fix but it didn't work. I took my new bag, an Amazon box, and the protective outer bag with me to return later. A friend at work suggested I maybe replace the grommets. I was happy with this idea because I did not look forward to returning the bag. Instead of Prime's 2 days, it took 3 so I wasn't wanting to be without a replacement for that long. I found matching grommets at JoAnn's, replaced the faulty ones and so far it's holding up like a charm. I adore this bag and really didn't want to return it but I was left a little upset with the construction of the bag then needing to invest more money to make it function properly. Ultimately, I'd give the brand another go as they all look like quality products.

This is a great bag but the dye from the leather has gotten all over my clothing and on the bag itself from the way the handles were placed in the packaging. Hoping that some leather cleaner will correct this keep this from happening and that the dye will wash out of my clothing.

Wish it had a hard bottom so that it would stand up straight. I made a bottom out of 2 pieces of corregated cardboard and taped them together with duct to add stability to the bottom.Otherwise I am very pleased With size and appearance . It is big enough for all my junk and I kewo a small crossbody in it to carry into the store with me as I am a small person and the bag tends to get too heavy for me to tote.

Love the style, lightweight and not TOO many pockets. don't need the shoulder strap, the others work just fine. I tried several for my trip and this one is perfect!

This says ‘Waxed Canvas’ but it is not. I gave this 4 stars for this reason. It is real leather and the construction of this bag is outstanding. However, I purchased this because it stated Waxed Canvas and this is not waxed or treated to repel water. I own several bags that are waxed and this clearly is not. I have just sprayed leather protectant on it and don’t get me wrong I love the bag, I would love it more if it was as stated in the description.

I was looking for a functional canvas bag that would display my pins nicely. (I'm an enamel pin junky). This bag is sturdy enough to handle pins well. I like to put them on pockets so if they ever do happen to come loose, I don't have to go looking for the backs of them. The backings just fall into the pocket and I find the metal pins easily enough. This bag is super functional with different inside pockets too. Large enough for my 14" laptop! Really like that it has a zipper to keep everything secure. Considering buying more colors soon.
