Great book. Happy for the chance to replace mine lost in a fire.

This is a must have for anyone wanting to learn more about herbs and their properties...it a terrific resource. I ordered this because l couldn’t find the one l purchased decades ago…just found it today. Now l can have one copy in my apothecary and one in my library.

Item arrived in great condition, and about 3 days ahead of schedule.

I paid for a new book yet I received one that was gently used. One page had been highlighted and another with a sticky note on it. There were smudges on some pages and a sticker that said THIS BOOK BELONGS TO... Other than that, I like the information in the book. I am new to using herbs for health purposes. The information is easy to understand.

This book is full of information concerning herbs presented in an easy to read and understand format. There are also "how to" categories on companion planting, building herb beds, etc.. On the outer side of each herb being discussed are tips and hints on successful planting or warning that the herb is dangerous and should not be considered. This is a no-nonsense, concise and beautifully presented book that has earned a permanent place in my personal library.

I got bored inside a cabin i was staying at, so i went to the bookshelf and took this book out. i immediatly was mesmorized by the illustrations and amazed at the content. i took pictures from my phone of the pages and took them home, including the cover so i could find it again.A few months later, i forgot about it until my father went through my phone and deleted some of my cabin pictures, including the book pages. He told me about the deleting of the pictures, and i went to my phone to see if any remained. only the cover remained, so i ordered the book online.Sure, it took awhile for the book to arrive, but it WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!It still is the best book ever.

This book is the best (and only) herb book you will ever need. I have owned one for years and bought this for a gift.

Beautiful book full of great information.It is a large and heavy book packed with pictures and everything you need to know so don't be put off by the age of it, I own a lot of this type of book and this is by far one of the better books in the subject.Highly recommended.

An absolute eye-opener to the natural world. There is so much learning to be had from this book, it will take me through my lifetime to retain it all. This book will remain in my hiking backpack for as long as I can walk through the paths of nature.

The only thing that could have made this better is if all the herbs had a colored picture. Lots of info.
