I received my: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B074H7FK3R/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 CPU fan today and it gives every appearance to be a used fan. It has been cleaned, but corners and cracks are filled with the grey lint that CPU fans always trap in some places and parts. As noted the power cable is about 1/3 the length of my original fan's cable. I bought the original fan on a used heat sink, the old fan does not spin freely, so I bought this replacement. I will use this to cool the hot side of a Peltier junction a thermo-electric cooler for insulin in an insulated cooler box. I was too busy to test the fan today. Ron Youvan

Very loud sounds like a jet is in my PC case, everything is very chill though. Will try and find a quieter one with a little less ambition. Did not realize how big the fan is.

Despite claiming to be new, these are not new items. They're just pulled from a server or something because they've got dust embedded in them, and the wiring is kinked up from where it was routed in the original equipment. And because of that routing in the original case, it damaged the tach wire, which has a chunk out of it.It is what it says, aside from definitely being used parts, and not even inspected for damage. Scam seller.

Plugged it in and it worked.
