Dianetics 55!: The Complete Manual of Human Communications

Despite the title, keep in mind that this book is NOT the same thing as Dianetics: Modern Science nor is it a sequel or rewriting of that study. This book is all about communication to all things in life, not about auditing or anything specific I honestly don't know why the title is what it is. It's a great book and I recommended it to a lot of people when I worked in sales because the communication techniques you can learn are very important when talking to strangers in that kind of environment but it also helps with building relationships in person and to keep them. What communication really is to our brains and how we can keep it not only healthy but valuable to make what we say and how to make what we hear from others actually matter and be retained.

Book arrived much sooner than expected. Listen if you want to level up, gain control in communication and acquire higher levels in your life, this is a book one must read.

Great read for anyone who has read some of the basic books as it neatly ties some ideas together that span the first few books. For anyone who has read Hubbard before his way of writing and use of words will be familiar but newcomers should start at least by reading Dianetics then either Evolution of A Science or The Original Thesis if not both

Everyone knows that communication is important, but I feel like no one really knows the specifics of communication. I read this book all the way through, and it really has cleared things up for me on the subject. I actually work in sales, and communication is absolutly essential there. If you can't communicate, you won't get your ideas across and will never make a sale. My sales more than doubled from using the information in this book. The techniques are easy to use and seem simple, but they are very new and produce real results. You are going to read it and say, "well that's obvious", but when you start really using the stuff you see just how different it is from previous theories.This book got me real results in the real world, which is all that matters in my opinion.

How can you go wrong learning about LIFE and COMMUNICATION? If you have questions about anything in LIFE or COMMUNICATION this book is worth reading. I'm always looking for ways to improve my LIFE in one way or another or improve COMMUNICATION with my spouse, or a friend, or family member. I think everyone could benefit from reading this book. I read DIANETICS and then this. Both books are definitely worth reading. Very enlightening information.

any positive reviews on this are strictly part of the Scientology "cult" .. L. Ron Hubbard was a con-man who died of a stroke (so clearly he didn't find the answer to immortality.. guess he wasn't as "clear" as he thought he was). He was a failed science fiction writer who created a religion so he could cash in (he's quoted as saying such). XENU is one of the funniest and most absurd stories i've ever heard. Any person who believes this stuff is nuts... i bought this book as a Halloween prop for an alien costume, now i'll use it to prop up a coffee table leg

The book digs into a subject that we think we know about - but don't really. The basics of communication that apply to everything. This is what underlies the entire subject - the laws of how it works... written in 1955, it still shines today - what's in here is timeless.

Must have for anyone who wants to know about their mind and how it works.

This book is a mental litmus test. If you believe a word of it, you need mental rehabilitation, as soon as possible.Also makes for good firestarter.

Excellent book on communication. Should be read only after reading dianetics, for proper context.
