Finally "wide shoes" that are actually wide
These $40 Whitin shoes feel better than my $120+ Altra shoes. If you have wide feet, bunions, or you want shoes that let your toes splay out (maybe you're wearing toe spacers), nothing on the market seems to have the right shape except for these shoes, so it's a miracle that they're so affordable. I bought a pair for the gym, one as my daily burner, and a backup one, heh. Why not?I have massive bunions too, which I'm sure you wanted to know, and these shoes have a mesh material that accommodates them.

Good shoes for the price, but has a few drawbacks
I've had altra lone peaks and another Within 0 drop shoe to compare, and these are decent for the price.I like these shoes so far, I have wide feet and my options are slim. Specialized wide toebox shoes tend to be expensive from brands like Topo or Altra, they also seem to be mostly for runners who want 0-drop shoes, which isn't me. A lot of these shoes are are extremely ugly with bright colors and outrageous designs, but what's nice is that this shoe looks. Not good, not bad, but at the very least, normal. The insole it comes with is actually of nice quality compared to other shoes that give you a paper thing insole that does nothing, but the shoes still feel a bit hard. I ended up using a Dr Scholls extra comfort insole and it works very well for me.The wide toe box is nice, I wear a 11.5 2E usually, but I went with the 12 Wide and it fits perfectly. I like how there's a bit of cushion compared to a lot of 0 drop shoes.A few cons.- Biggest one is that the traction on these shoes aren't that good. I had a rubber sole 0 drop WITHIN shoe that had the same problem, but over time the traction on the rubber felt better. I'll have to see if this is the case with this model.- The material durability is questionable, it doesn't seem like it will stand the test of time, but I'll update the review in a few months.- The sole is hard. While it has some padding to protect you unlike barefoot shoes, these soles are pretty hard. While the insoles are nicer than other paper thin insoles from other shoes, it still feels hardOverall. I'd probably by this again if my current ones wear down. They good normal, fit pretty well, and feel good. I've paid more for shoes that feel much worse.

Great comfy shoes
Honestly some of the most comfortable shoes I own, I’m a nurse and stand a lot. I love the wide toe box. These are better than my pumas, adidas, vans and others. I own 3 different pair of shoes from them. I’d rather buy another pair of these or other styles before a Nike or vans that’s double the cost and half the comfort.

I’m not going to return them, but…
The size is a European measurement and is about one size (possible 1/2) too big. I wear 11US, which is, ostensibly, size 45EU. They’re too large for my comfort as walking shoes (let alone running shoes). My feet are not particularly narrow either, but if you have wider feet than average they may fit well. I wear other Whitin shoes that fit perfectly, so they’re inconsistent with their other style shoes.Construction materials is reasonably good, but not sure how good yet. I give it a conservative 7 out of 10. The lining-material around its healIs already pilling and will likely wear quickly. The “cardboard” that offers stability in the toe and heal area is quite flimsy.

Great right out the box.
No need to break these shoes in. They feel amazing and my feet felt good at the end of the day. I also loved the color and the price.

Not Zero Drop
Finally some normal looking, not cheap or ugly colors/style, but they are sadly NOT ZERO DROP. Their other zero drop sneakers are comfortable but still look ugly. Was excited about these looking decent enough, but not zero drop. Felt the heel and toe lift immediately. Come on Whitin, you’re better than this.
