Terrible Quality Publishing
Don't waste your time ordering a paperback edition of this book; it is of such poor quality it isn't worth the materials used to produce it. The book feels and looks like an instruction manual. The illustrations are blurry and hard to decipher. The paper is like pulp.Spend a few extra dollars with a different seller and get one of the higher quality used or new hardcover editions. That's what I've done now that my return is submitted.

Good for children. I would definitely buy again
I received this book from my parents for my 8th birthday. I lost this book in Hurricane Katrina. I finally replaced. The only thing missing is the inscription, Happy Birthday love mother and dad, my parents passed many years who. It’s amazing how many of these poems I still remember. This is a fabulous book for children. I received at age 9, I am know 71. I still love this book. Enjoy

Previously owned with a signature written inside the cover.
Two of my favorite childhood books, put together into one! I was very happy to order it but didn’t realize until I wanted to write a gifting note that it was used and also signed.?That was disappointing but I am turning it around and keeping that signature as this book was significant to others as well. Otherwise in good condition.

Not to be missed
These classic poems by the author of the Winnie the Pooh books are great for children! They helped my family learn to enjoy poetry and began my lifelong love of words. True to childhood.

I did not know this book existed till a couple of months ago I wished I would have had it whenmy kids were little but my grandkids really liked it.. The poetry is wonderful and so were the illustrations

Another beautiful childhood memory!
This is a book packed full of children's poetry. I even put one poem to music. Made for a many for my children at bedtime!

sentimentality
I had this when I was young. I gave it to my son n we lost it so when I found it I was pleased as punch. It took a while to get there but my son said it did. Thanks. Tnc

Loved the authenticity of the personal inscription.

Slightly disappointed
The book has been modernised by colouring the pictures and are no longer the pen drawings. The text is larger while making easier reading for 'six' year olds but is another step away from the original. I know, I have my copy from 1943
