Keeps wounds Dry
Springer Spaniel post operative with stitches in back paw for 2 weeks. This is the first boot I have had that works, it is brilliant. Slides on the leg very easily, 2 velcro robust straps keep it in place. We are now able to do short walks on the lead the dressing is dry and my dog is happy. Game changer.(However it would be damaged/torn on rough ground. Recommend lead use only, especially for a high energy Springer!) I got the large size and cut a little off the top.

completely unwearable
awful. just awful. imagine trying to get your dogs foot into an extremely tight thick bit of rubber liner that you cant even get your own hand into. well that’s this nonsense i’m afraid. just doesnt work until you’re happy injuring your dog or breaking its foot in the process! bought this for my dog who was limping after a thorn injury. dog having none of it so had to resort to typing a sandwich bag around his foot to keep it dry and clean. whoever designed this has clearly never owned a dog. shocking. waste of money and doesnt work.

Does the job, just
It is thick enough to be very durable, does the job but I found it hard to keep in place. My dog is medium sized but I ordered in large so it would not hurt her sore paw when I put it on. Size was fine, baggy but that's what I wanted. But the middle strap was too large and didn't work to hold it up. I used self adhesive bandage first, under the straps, and that worked. Not a brilliant design overall but did the job.

Designless
This is just a closed end tube. No thought or design has been used to produce the item. My lab/lurcher cross got used to it very quickly but the damned thing just ended up flapping off her leg like a redundant razor strop. Waste of money and patience!

Does the job well
Easy enough to put on a 20kg collie cross, and secure with the straps. It does sag a bit while walking, but has kept the bandage beneath dry and clean during walks up to 1 hour long through puddles and a bit of mud. Hasn't ripped so pretty sturdy. Easy to clean. Probably a helpful addition to the pet first aid box.

Not the best quality.
I bought this to cover a dressing on my dogs leg, it seemed really good, but after 4 uses it split across the side so wasn’t able to use it. Quite expensive for 4 uses. Appeared stronger than it was. Tried to send it back to let the company know, wasn’t eligible for return🤷♀️ so hopefully they will see this review.

Very narrow and not easy to put on
Good quality but very narrow and very difficult to put onto a dogs hairy leg! As this is rubber, and is like a tube sock, you will be fighting to get this on your dog. Would be better if it was more wrap around than tube.

Silicone sock works a treat
I read all the reviews on this sock and was a bit worried that it wouldn’t work, or last very long, however for the price of it I thought I would get it and see how long it lasts. My dog cut his toe on his back foot two weeks ago and I have to keep the bandage dry when we go out for a walk. I had been using the plastic (ex drip bags) bags the vet gave me, but they weren’t working so well because they weren’t high enough up his leg to keep the bandage dry. This silicone sock is perfect, it fits a little snuggly only because I ordered the size for the width of his foot and not included the bandage.I felt I should write this review because it works perfectly, admittedly he got a little cut in the bottom of this sock after a few days, but I would expect that because where we walk there’s a lot of stone chippings which can be sharp.Using the two Velcro straps provided the sock doesn’t move down or come off and doesn’t impede his walk at all. Before I put it on him before our walk I put a little bit of talcum powder in, which makes it easy to put on and take off. He has now been using this for about a week and a half and it’s still fine, I just put the little slit in the sock at the top and his bandage stays nice and dry and he can walk really well with this on.
