67mm ND 1000 Filter, 10 Stop Neutral Density Filter for Camera Lenses, 16-Layer Multi-Resistant Coated, German Optics Glass, Weather-Seal ND Filter with Lens Cloth

I like the strong, but thin metal filter ring. It screws in and unscrews without binding, yet it never gets loose while on the lens. The glass is high-quality and renders neutral images (ie. no color shift!). I have pointed it directly at the sun, and there is no flare or ghosting caused by the filter. The photos I take are just as sharp as when I take the same photo with the filter removed. These filters live up to the advertising, and are more reasonably priced than many other filters out there. I have not yet, and don't intend to, smudge them up or abuse them, just to "test them out" against other filters that claim to shed dirt, water, and grease. I take better care of my equipment than that. I don't need to pay 3x the cost just for features that assume abuse of equipment. These Lenskins are the best balance between cost and quality that I could find on the market.

The frame of the Lenskin 77 mm ND 1000 filter is of light weight aluminum material and is okay considering the incredible low price. What is surprising is there hardly any color cast and loss of sharpness when using my Canon ultra wide angle 17-40 mm lenses on a Canon 6D. See the attached images, the left image is with the ND1000 filter and right image with no filter. This slim filter doesn't add any additional vignetting to your ultra wide angle lenses which is a good thing. There was some slight warm color cast when I tested with my cheap 18-55mm kit zoom lens on my Sony A6000 with a step up/down ring adapter, but not so with a Rokinon 12 mm lens. One of the best value for the money on ND filter.

I purchased this filter because of the high quality glass, multi-coatings, and low price. The lens has a redish cast which requires some WB adjustment, but the image quality is very good. It was easy to clean smudges using a dry lens cloth. For my limited use I could not justify a more expensive lens. That said, I am impressed with the quality of the materials and construction and I would purchase other Lenskins filters.

I bought this filter in a different size for my Tamron 17-28mm e-mount lens and love it. I haven't noticed any major color distortion and the sharpness doesn't seem to be affected at all either. The low profile seems to negate most vignetting you may encounter, but it does show up (unsurprisingly) if you stack this with another filter like a CPL. The gold ring is a nice touch too. I would absolutely buy these again as you get great results for the money.

About this for to my lenses. I bought this for my Panasonic 100/300 millimeter lens and my sigma 16 mm. It does a pretty good job the quality of the material seems very nice. No color cast. 67 mm thread threads on extremely nice. I would buy again.

The copy I received had a significant blue color cast. If that is not a concern in your circumstances, this may be an OK filter as the price is very reasonable. But, I returned it, and purchased a higher quality ND filter that won't require constant color correction (borrowed one from a friend to test before buying).

Lucky to share my thanks for the product which gives me absolutely best results in application of ND filter in photography.
