It Does What Needs To Be Done
I didn't know much about cars, so I left my Miata in the garage to "just chill" while I used my work vehicle for permitted personal use daily. However, when I finally decided to drive the Miata, I found the battery was completely dead. I had to manually open the trunk from the hard top, only to realize that the jump starter I thought was in there was missing. I took the battery to two local automotive places, both of which confirmed that it was a dud and couldn't hold a charge.Reluctant to spend nearly $200 on a new battery, I brought the battery home and watched YouTube videos on opening it up and attempting some unconventional fixes. During my time at the automotive shops, someone mentioned a trickle charger, so I did more research and this product recommended on Reddit. Thinking, "Why not," placed the order, received it and I connected the charger and left it for a month. With my tags expiring in July 2023, I decided to check on the car battery. To my surprise, the battery was back in business.Feeling optimistic but still lacking car knowledge, I drove it for errands, deciding to also include getting the car detailed. However, I soon started experiencing malfunctions, such as power steering issues, problems with the hard top, and flickering displays, me deducing it to be a possible electrical problem. Uncertain if there was a real issue or if I was mistaken, I contemplated going to Firestone or another automotive store to replace the battery while driving down Highway 6.I ultimately decided to visit an automotive store to replace the battery. Upon arriving, I asked the staff for assistance. When the guy opened the hood, we discovered that I had failed to tighten the bolt enough connecting the negative charge on the battery, causing it to become completely disconnected. We laughed it off, realizing that was likely the problem.Since I lacked car knowledge and wanted to be safe, I opted to trade the battery in for a new one to obtain the warranty, especially since I had bought the car used with its original battery. All of this made me realize that I could have avoided these issues if I had known what I was doing. The trickle charger had been my savior, enabling me to make it to the library, a coffee shop, and a few other places before the problems arose. After these events, I'm glad to be better prepared with a trickle charger for my Miata, allowing me to maintain my battery life. However, my alternator was tested and found to be faulty. The guy at the auto shop offered me a discount and said he would help me out should I encounter any future issues. It turned out to be a win/win situation for me.

I bought 3 of these to maintain quad batteries and rv battery through the winter. So far they have all worked flawlessly and does the job.

Saved my battery
Works well, has plenty of cord to reach my bike. And I hadn’t had one on my Harley and my battery was super weak and this brought it back to life.

Works as it should
Seems to work fine, no issues so far and comes with the pig tails to do a permanent battery wire up.
