I enjoy using other Brickell products, so I thought I would give their shave butter a try versus my traditional shave cream. I was very surprised what a much closer shave I got with no irritation on my face whatsoever. Left my face smooth with no stubble. The best part is the fact that all the ingredients are all natural compared to the chemical infused shave cream I was using. I also like the small size of jar so it’s great for travel as well. A little butter goes a long way, so it is economical too. One tip is to make sure you use hot water (as in the shower, sink, or running it off the tap) otherwise it will clog your razor. I have been shaving for over 30 years and have tried practically every product on the market. At home, I am generally a Proraso and shaving brush user, so I was skeptical about switching to a brushless cream for travel. However, I was pleasantly surprised! This product goes on easily and is incredibly slick, providing a smooth shave every time. It significantly reduces irritation on my skin, which is a common issue for me with other products. The compact size is perfect for travel, fitting easily into my toiletry bag without taking up much space. After trying it out, this shave cream has now become my standard travel cream. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, effective, and irritation-free shaving experience on the go.

I'm really torn about this shave cream. On one hand... it smells great, lubricates the skin well, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. On the other hand, it separates really easily and is sometimes challenging to mix back together. Every morning I find myself trying to mix it back up and get a consistent feeling amount of product in my hand. I love Brickell products, but this one falls a little short.

Great product. Only a little needed to apply for a great shave. It left my skin feeling super smooth. I have really sensitive skin and most shave products cause irritation. This product left no irritation, is the best I’ve found yet, and I’ll continue to use it. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because it’s a bit pricy.

Long ago i ditched the aerosol shaving creams because of my sensitive skin and the chemicals added to the razor burn, dryness and itching i had after each shave. I've reviewed a number of shave soap pucks and creams that i would recommend, and tried a ton more that didn't make the grade. This stuff is top notch! When you open the jar It has a fresh minty fragrance that wakes you up. More importantly, the natural lubricants provide for an excellent, close shave without razor burn, irritation or nicks. This product doesn't require the effort or time of a hard soap and brush, but still provides a top quality shave. Just scoop a little out with your finger (the jar says about a quarter size, i put two dime size "dollops" on each cheek and neck) and massage in. After receiving my order i had an evening affair one day, and I had to shave a second time later in the same day which usually ruins me. , I used this cream, counting on the aloe and jojoba combination to work some magic. I had no irritation or dry skin feeling. This is now part of my shaving rotation and I would highly recommend it.

Here's another excellent product from Brickell. If you are familiar with, and like Shave Butter (not foam or gel), this product may make an excellent addition to your shave routine.Like a typical shave butter, this is non-foaming and only requires a small amount to spread across your face - a little more for your neck. This lightly scented butter has a dense consistency but applies smoothly to a slightly moistened face. Initially, I was concerned the product might gum up my razor (Harry's 5 blade), but there were no such issues. So, in my case, Brickell shave butter offered a very close shave without any irritation, leaving my skin felling incredibly soft.Although a little more pricey than store bought products, this is an excellent shave butter that can be considered a very good investment in your skin health.

UPDATE: Thrown away after the second shave. Can't take it anymore. The smell is SO bad, doesn't mix well when you shake it (shook it like crazy, didn't help) and just makes for an overall bad shave. My 2 star is now going down to a one star because I thought I could get through this tiny bottle but.........just no. Put this product out of its misery.Will not be buying again. Spent $12 on this shaving cream and it looks almost like a sample size (not actually the sample size because I got a sample of it before which I mistakenly forgot to use before I bought this). If you shave a lot and like to use a good amount of shaving cream do not buy this, it'll last you maybe 4-5 shaves. As far as the actual product, it felt like I was spreading some clumpy Cetaphil on my face and didn't really help with my shave much. Lastly, the smell (in my own personal opinion) is terrible, it smells like a cheap form of alcohol, almost made me gag honestly. I LOVE all the other Brickell products I have tried so far (which is the only reason it got a second star), especially the face wash and the face cream but this totally misses the mark.
