Good Thermos, Better Warranty
Okay, so for over three years this has been an outstanding thermos. Then about a week ago, the plastic plug started to discolor. The a perfect ring of plastic broke off the plug. (see pic) So, being a Stanley product, I figured they would stand behind their product. I called, on a Sunday, to ask for a replacement plug. Instead they sent me a brand new thermos, which arrived two days later. In summary, while their products are very good, their warranty policy is just as good, IMO.

This was the yeti before they existed
Classic thermos that has been they go 24 twenty or more years. Same idea as the yeti cups, but rough and tumble, and hold up to rough handling

the best. keeps hot coffee hot for 12+ hours, and keeps ice cold lemonade ice cold for 36+ hours (but not at the same time)

It's a large thermos, but....
....it doesn't keep liquids very hot. After filling with a fresh hot pot of coffee it goes warm after a few hours. That's rather disappointing!I love the size but I am disappointed that it doesn't keep liquids hot like my last thermos did which was @ least 12+ hours. :-(

It really does stay very hot all day.
I am retired so my coffee pot was on from when I woke up until I go to sleep. Only time it was off is while I was making a fresh pot or was not home. I now make a pot and fill the thermos and keep it by my chair. Now have very hot coffee all day. It even stays hot all night if there is a few cups in it when I go to sleep. Now first thing when I get up I have hot coffee to start my day.

Very happy with this purchase
My husband works as a home builder. He asked for this thermos. He loves it coffee was hot all day. It is rather large but it's just what he needs.
