Wild salmon oil in a non-smelly format
Once my dog stopped throwing this in the air like a toy and settled down to eat it, it's such a useful way to get Omegas 3, 6 and 9-rich salmon oil down him. You can just pierce the gel capsules if, like me, your dog (or cat) is easily distracted or has trouble swallowing but that might be a bit fiddly. There are 120 soft gel capsules in the pack and my dog needs 3 a day so it will last for 40 days:0-20lb – 1 soft gel20-40lb – 240-60 – 360-80 – 480+ – 5It helped my dog who had itchy, flaky skin and stiff joints and he has a lovely shiny coat. I just put them in his food every morning. Unlike salmon oil, they have no smell and, unlike when I've used cod liver oil for previous dogs, he doesn't smell of fish after use. It's also easier and more pleasant for anyone else feeding him to use the soft gels than salmon oil from a pump dispenser.I really like the fact that these are made from wild salmon, albeit from Alaska, and not farmed salmon.4• – Useful way for dogs with skin and joint issues to take Omegas 3,6 & 9, just one point deduction because the soft gels might be too big for some animals and it took a couple of goes for my dog to settle down and eat them

Cat won't go near it!
What seemed like a good idea turned out to be otherwise.I purchased this item because I liked the idea of the dietary benefits and the fact that portions were "ready prepared".The reality was that it was extremely fiddly and messy getting the oil out of the capsule and then the cat refused to touch the "contaminated" food, no matter how it was disguised. That's cats for you!

Great supplement for my furry friends
I have two dogs and a cat, and they all love this salmon oil supplement.I give them one soft gel each day, and I have noticed a huge improvement in their skin, coat, and joint health. They have less itching, shedding, and inflammation, and more energy, shine, and mobility. The soft gels are easy to administer, and they have no fishy smell or taste. My pets think they are treats, and they always look forward to getting them. This product is made from wild Alaskan salmon, which is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, as well as EPA and DHA. These are essential nutrients for the overall well-being of my pets.I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to give their dogs or cats the best possible care.

Happy cat & doggo
I'm ensure of the phycological benefits for my kitty, although she seems very happy and her coat is glossing a little more than usual after a week or two of adding these to her food.I find it easiest to poke a little hole in them, then add to normal wet food and she noms it up as per usual.I did try adding it to a food bowel to see if she'd like the taste, she licked it but she didn't go back for more after the first try, so I find it easier to add to her food. She seems just as happy as usual although it must have some helpful effects to her mood / psychological function.I don't tend to feed too much sea food due to her having a delicate stomach & too much mercury can be bad for the body.

Fish oils
As my dogs is highly active he's been on fish oils for years (omega three being the only supplement proven to aid joints). I generally buy whats on offer. These come well packaged with a seal. They have a decent shelf life. The oil/capsule is pale in colour - many companies use coloured gel caps, so its nice to see the natural colouration. The capsules are a reasonable size, so smaller dogs may need the contents put in their food. My dog is 27kg so swallowing them isnt an issue. Chicken and Primula and they do down a treat. At £12.99 for 120, they are twice what im currently paying and unless they make a vast and noticeable difference to my dog, im not sure id buy them again unless on offer. My only other complaint is that the feeding guide states lbs. The UK uses KGs and it irks me somewhat that companies dont package products with their intended target market in mind.

Good quality supplement for my dog
Fish oil supplements helped my last dog live til over 18 years old. So I chose these Alaskan Salman oil supplements as I want to do the same for my current dog.Salmon oil is one of the best oils you can give a dog. Has Omega 3, 6 and 9 which are really beneficial to your dog's body and mind. So many other benefits like skin and coat quality, heart health, immune system, joints and movement.I really like that the box is cellophane sealed and then sealed again under the lid. I just mix one into his food and it's eaten up with ease as they are not huge.My pack has a long shelf life - 2026 and it's handily written on the lid.Only just started these so looking forward to seeing my dog benefit from them. He has a slight reoccurring limp when he overdoes it with ballplay. So I'm hoping these will help with that too.
