Really pretty but heavy.

Purchased for serving meals such as chili, gumbo, étouffée. When first received I thought they were very chunky (I prefer finer materials) however, after discovering they are oven and freezer safe, I found that they were perfect for reheating food in the oven and then going directly to table. So now I’ll be using them all the time and not just for soup like meals.

The bowls are so bright and decorative-really fun to look at even when putting them in the dishwasher! They are fairly big and thick ( not delicate) but being able to put them in both microwave and dishwasher-while still being porcelain !- is the clincher for me. I’m planning to order the smaller bowls next.

These are lovely bowls that I will enjoy using at breakfast, brunch, lunch, or eating on the patio. I don’t know technically how the colorful patterns are put on the bowls (for them to be hand-painted with this level of detail would be very costly), but these bowls look much more appealing than inexpensive bowls with colorful patterns whose Ben-Day dots are clearly visible if you look closely. Each of the bowls has a fairly wide band on the underside of a different color (red, yellow, green, or blue) But I am disappointed that for 3 of the 4 bowls the dominant color of the pattern for the inside of the bowl is blue, with the 4th being yellow. Wish there was more variation here. And the listing says they are lead-free, but I think it may cause some worry that the brand is “Henxfen Lead”. Obviously, that second word could have and probably does have a completely different source than the name of a metal - their Amazon page might want to clear up any potential misunderstanding.

I have been looking for pasta bowls this exact size and found them with these. They are beautiful! They have some weight to them that I like and do great in the dishwasher. I am so happy with these, and they are used daily. I have difficulties with my hands and have found using a bowl like this for my food has made it so much easier then a plate. Food would get pushed off the sides on a plate, but not these. I really do love them.

I love these bowls. They are exactly the size I wanted for pasta and soup. The package came and it was not damaged on either the outside box or the interior box that held the bowls. However, one has a chip. The only option Amazon has given me is to send them all back but I would like to work with the seller for aOne bowl replacement. I hope they read my review❤️

Loved the colors. Bowls are heavily made.

These bowls look similar to traditional Italian pottery. And they are porcelain.
