Love it! Arrived today - well packaged and just looks FABBY - The Green GLASS is light enough for the light to shine through and obviously the shade is moveable so you can adjust.- it can almost be an uplighter when not needed at the Desk - It is heavy and feels like good quality. I was worried about Brass - But it actually looks more like Brushed steel with a hint of yellow which is just perfect.I am Very impressed and wish I had found this earlier - it would have saved all the mistakes I have made previously!

Love it, it's very aesthetically pleasing and my partner was excited to get this as a gift.

I was lucky to have been left a leather topped desk and I realised what could be more perfect than a bankers desk lamp. but to find one of this quality and at an affordable price, I got really lucky.

Being an internationally renowned author for some years, I wanted a bankers' lamp to create a delusion of grandeur. I went with this one because while I'm internationally renowned, the photo promised to pull this off at an affordable price. It arrived boxed within a box, like a box version of Matryoshka dolls (I've copyrighted that so don't nick it), and it was in one piece when I opened it. As soon as I set it up I felt more like an internationally renowned author than ever before. My writing is exactly the same, but I feel much more internationally renowned.Recommended to all authors who want to feel the part.

Very poor quality. I bought this over two years ago. Within a few week or so, I had it set it up in my study and it looked great but I needed to adjust it slightly to focus on my desk. Whilst simply moving the glass head down, a part near the metal connectors came away in my hand without any undue pressure at all. Although the head currently remains in place, it looks likely to shatter if it falls, so I was very disappointed with the durability. Needless to say, I haven't been able to use this lamp at all. Avoid!

This lamp didn't come with its own bulb. That is my only criticism.I wished to create a delusion of literary knowledge but with an ambience of comfort in my home. To this end I built bookshelves on two walls at opposite ends of one room which is divided by folding doors with a fireplace at one end and a writing desk at the other . My newly purchased lamp stands proudly on my desk in my library that helps to influence this feeling. And maybe in time, one day, I might be an internationally renowned author. However, I sincerely doubt it.

Have had for over a year now. Good attractive desk lamp.
